So far what we know is that after 6 months and tens of millions of dollars, Robert Mueller, who should be under indictment himself, has charged two people with money laundering and conspiracy and one has pled guilty of lying to the FBI.
Manafort organized a public relations campaign for a group called European Centre for a Modern Ukraine (ECMU), which lobbied the U.S. to support Ukraine’s EU push. Podesta’s company was one of many firms that worked on the campaign. Manafort and Richard Gates moved millions around in an effort to evade taxes. Evade taxes? This was supposed to be about Rusian collusion to influence an election.
Robert Mueller’s big catch was low-level, unpaid intern
In the 14-page document, Robert Mueller’s prosecutors maintain that Papadopoulos, a twentysomething think-tank nerd who jumped ship from the Ben Carson campaign, met with individuals posing as Russian officials who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton.
There was nothing illegal about what Papadopoulos did. The only crime alleged in the indictment is that he lied to federal agents when they asked him about the contacts last January.

U.S. District Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson, the preliminary judge, has overseen cases involving former Washington, D.C. Mayor Marion Barry and NBA player Allen Iverson, according to Tickle the Wire, a law news website.
Tickle the Wire also reported Robinson presided in the trial of Lewis “Scooter” Libby, an ex-White House aide who was convicted of lying to authorities and obstructing the probe of a 2003 leak of a CIA operative’s identity.
Earlier this year, Jackson — a Harvard Law School graduate — dismissed a lawsuit brought against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by relatives of victims of the 2012 Benghazi attack.
Jackson ruled that Clinton neither enabled the attack by communicating through her private email server, nor did she defame the victims families in the aftermath, the Washington Times reported.

Dem proposes constitutional amendment to limit Trump’s pardon power
Under Rep. Steve Cohen’s (Tenn.) proposed constitutional amendment, presidents would be prohibited from pardoning themselves, their families, members of their administrations, or people who worked on their presidential campaigns. Cohen plans to introduce the amendment on Tuesday when the House returns to session.

Both Manafort and the Podesta Group failed to register as lobbyists acting on behalf of a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
THIS LAW HAS BEEN ON THE BOOKS SINCE THE 1920’S BUT NOBODY HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH IT SINCE 1966, EVEN THOUGH MANY PEOPLE DO IT. MANAFORT IS A SPECIAL CASE, APPARENTLY.

Democratic California Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris made appearances at Clinton birthday party, where they were greeted with heaping helpings of champagne, finger food and chocolate cake. Lawmakers were not the only people in attendance. Clinton celebrated her 70th birthday alongside David Brock, the founder of liberal media outlet Media Matters, and Brian Fallon, one of her campaign advisers.

After PJ Media’s Liz Sheld suggested the idea to this reporter, it seemed increasingly plausible. Not only does the timeline work out, but Clinton attacked Trump as Putin’s puppet and Clinton’s connections to Russia had been powerfully reported in 2015. What better way to distract from Clinton’s ties to Russia than proving “collusion” on Trump’s part?
