Chatty Cathy one of Mrs. Pete’s precious belongings that got sold when The Pistol was among the unemployed. Ting couldn’t bear to see her go out of their family, so she bought her on eBay, then organized a Grand Tour of the U.S. for her! She visited a number of the PoliNation administrators (and the mascots!), shared in our lives briefly, acquired a Chrissy Originals necklace to match her patriotic ensemble, and had her picture taken with each of us for a (shhh … this is still a surprise) Memory Book. Here are a few pics for those of you who have been curious (Hi Hoot!). 🙂

I added a couple of my photographs to yours, Chrissy — hope this is okay. It’s so much easier than trying to put them in a comment.
Eventually I think we’re going to have to create a page on the blog for ALL the pictures and stories relating to Cathy’s adventure, so everyone will be able to enjoy them.

Totally fine with me! I didn’t want to assume permission from anyone but me and the Buzzers. I know we all were fine with the Petes seeing our real faces and knowing where we live, but we didn’t discuss making them public.
Hyphenated NOT PUBLIC rules: No faces or real first names (except for me). No actual locations or real last names. For the kids, distinctive terrain or architecture in photos are also verboten for military OPSEC.

We’ll have to let each person decide which of her pictures (if any) are okay for the public page.

Yes, but let’s leave some surprises for her journal. She still has a few secrets to disgorge!

I’m still hoping you and Auntie Lib will send me your photos too. I’m pretty sure that black and white furball in your gravatar is not you ;).

I think I’ve already sent you my pictures – didn’t I? The journal is being published now. Shhhhh! We don’t want to spoil the surprise. I think i’ve figured out how to share it with all of you – but not until Pete and Mrs. Pete get it, k?

Am I the dog in the picture? Depends on whom you ask…

I use to have a Cathy. My step father gave her away when I was 18 without my permission. Course he was a pissed off because I had left home and they lost the baby sitter, cook, and maid. Best decision I ever made, but I missed Cathy. I spent a lot of time making clothes for her. Kept me from being bored to death.
Can Cathy come and visit?
