Love and not negativity

In a post earlier this week, I made a snarky remark that the Left claims Obama is “smarter than God.”

One of my bloggy buds wrote back:

How can one be smarter than God? The very definition of God refutes that statement. I am so tired of this craziness.  The problem is the more I dwell on it the angrier and more frustrated I get and I don’t like the person it makes me!  Trying to figure out how to fight the stupidity and hatred with love.  I have started a prayer campaign of my own to pray for the people of our country to focus on love and not hatred and making decisions for what is the best for our country based on love and not negativity.  Would you like to join me in this quest?

Yes, dear one. I would.

I’d also like to point out that this particular bloggy bud wears the uniform, salutes the flag and carries a gun.

Not that I expect “demonize the Right” types to read this, let alone open up their minds to the possibility that we’re not evil.

I just needed to say it.

  1. I have a little prayer campaign of my own going. Whenever I’m out and about and I see a car with an Obama bumper sticker on it — and around where I live, that’s pretty frequently — I say a silent prayer for the person who put that bumper sticker on, that he/she will be mugged by reality.
