SWEET JESUS,I’ve been channel-surfing for 2 1/2 hrs and MSLSD is going after Akin hammer and tong,all but writing him off in the race.They just had Claire McCaskill on,grinning from ear to ear like a death row inmate who was just pardoned.It remains to be seen if the GOP sticks with him or tries to push him out the way they did Jack Ryan,which begat Obama’s ride to the throne.Fortunately nobody watches that piece of crap network.

I remember reading that polls of union workers’ politics show them to be a representative spread of Americans. Except for the lefties, they don’t like what unions do with their dues money. That’s why unions fight right to work laws. The minute they pass anywhere, most of the members shut off the faucet.

It was old people, more than the youth, (imo) that elected Barry. Many old lady traditional Dems (like my mother) were so impressed with the “handsome young man” that showing piles of proof on him would not even be looked at. Most of these old ladies were Catholic civil rights ladies who were also the first to fight abortion before it became law and never stopped fighting it after passed. Yet, Barry comes along, they listen to his speeches and ignored completely his history on abortion. These were ladies who were known to vote Republican over the abortion issue. Sad, most are now dead, and don’t know how O’TaxCare has turned out to be once brought to light. Funny, if my mother had not passed away, there would have been a son or daughter making sure (even if mind gone this time around) her write-in vote was taken care of!

It’s depressing that elderly folks, who have had so much life experience and should have more wisdom as a result, were bamboozled by a charlatan like Øbama. I understand the youngsters being fooled — they have little to no experience with the real world, are used to having adults take care of them and make all their important decisions for them, etc. — but old people don’t have that excuse.

But today’s old people were young in the 60s. What with pining after the good old days of Woodstock, Vietnam War protests, pre-AIDS sex, etc., and all the brain damage they did to themselves with drugs, I’m thinking this could be the least wise group of oldsters in our nation’s history.

Anyway, just had a thought after reading the article, which is that low voter enthusiasm for Obama vs. high voter enthusiasm for Nobama will work for us in areas like Illinois. Would it not be B E A UTIFUL if he lost his own State?!

I felt the same way about Hillary as Senator of New York. At least BHO actually settled and worked in Chicago and worked in the State govt before presuming to run for U.S. Senate. HRC only bought a house here so she would have an excuse to plant her butt in a retiring Democrat’s Senate seat.

I have been on hiatus and on a Healthy High after a 4 day conference where every one of my hopes were met. It is amazing what can happen when you go into something with a positive attitude.
