    When they can regulate what you eat,what’s left? We raised tons of veggies and fruit for some extra money every summer.We couldn’t do that today.

      It is all part of the plan. Make it impossible for small food producers to compete, put them out business and Big Agra runs it all. Meanwhile, Obama butt buddie, Michael Taylor, who is head of the FDA, refuses to demand that food is labeled GMO.
      Do you know that it is illegal for companies to put NON GMO on their labels?

      I thought this would be in Provincetown, MA, or SF, CA, but it’s in Bangkok. Once upon a very long time ago … 1982ish, cuz Mama Buzz was in a stroller … Dearest and I visited Cape Cod and did P-town, not realizing it had turned into Homo Activist Central. We stopped at a place for lunch and got an ungodly eyeful of homo porn painted larger than life on the walls, bugged out and vowed never to return to that end of the Cape again. Brrr.

      Hooray for Hobby Lobby! I wish there were one within easy driving distance of me — the closest one is a two and a half hour drive away. Maybe a good thing, or my teenager would be there all the time, spending money.

      One of my Facebook friends posted pictures of herself going to lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then to Hobby Lobby; she got a lot of “likes.” 🙂

      Some years ago, I heard a black commentator (can’t remember who it was; sorry) say that he had received his reparations for slavery, because he was born in the U.S. rather than Africa. I thought that was the right attitude to take. I’m not qualified to have an opinion on the subject, due to my pasty white skin, but I do wish the professionally pissed off of ALL colors would just stop whining and get over it and quit being perpetual victims.

          I agree! Whenever I hear someone going on about how America owes them reparations for having enslaved their ancestors, I always want to ask them, Would you go back and undo slavery if it meant that you would have been born in Africa instead of the U.S.? Of course I would get myself lynched if I ever tried it…

    I had to google to be convinced Rosa DeLauro was born female. This is one of those women that make it so easy for students to get the right answers when playing “Guess This Woman’s Political Party?” … Speaking of college games, I was naturally drawn to the possibility of this as a drinking game. Trouble is … if you only get a shot when you get one wrong, nobody would get drunk and that is the point of those games isn’t it? Also reminded of the MYTHBUSTERS episode about “beer goggles”, where a male and female BUSTER ranked the attractiveness of a series of photos, then got drunk and did it again, then got drunker and did it again. All in the name of science of COURSE.
