I’m glad you did it in cartoon form so I wouldn’t get confused again. 😀 Thanks; I’m following you, and I think it’s plausible. The thing that keeps nagging at me is the question of where we are now in the timeline, especially given the uncertainty of how widespread or widely-recognized some of these events will be. I only wonder because we know that some supernatural events, though important and universal, continue to go completely unnoticed by some of the people of the world. Can we expect the same from some of these events? Or will EVERYONE notice? Will WE notice? Christ’s first coming as Messiah had an undeniable effect on the whole planet, even on our timekeeping system, but many do not recognize that he was the Messiah or that he even lived. Brutal spiritual warfare goes on all around us this very minute, but we scarcely notice, unless we’re attuned to it.
My point is just that I wonder whether some of these events have already happened. Is the Millenium done? Could the 6th seal, that you interpret as Rapture (I do not, but acknowledge the possibility), have already happened without us noticing? Is it possible that the 6-months of peace is over and we’re well-into the Tribulation? I just wonder because there are truly horrible things going on all over the world right now that are being generally ignored by the newspapers (and us). The Pope is just now considering the canonization of 800 Christian martyrs recently slaughtered for not accepting Islam, and those are just the ones we know about in Egypt and the Middle East. China is a martyr factory and an abortion machine. So are we. Does God recoil in horror at the suffering that is going on right now while we yawn? Every day China gets more aggressive. They just made a stealth invasion of part of India just a few days ago. Global economic collapse looms. Makes you wonder. This is all just a side comment, though. It doesn’t really have a direct bearing on your timeline.

Jesus told his disciples, “Just as lightning comes from the east and is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matt 24:27
His point was that lightning shooting all the way across the sky is scary, bright, loud and painfully OBVIOUS to everyone on the ground, so don’t go running around looking at false Messiahs. When HE comes back, you’ll KNOW.
If my interpretation is correct, specifically re: Letters/Seals being parallel descriptions of the time period between Jesus and when the final days commence, then the Sixth Seal day is the Second Coming-Rapture-Jesus in the Clouds event. The description of that day matches what Jesus said about OBVIOUS – Revelation 6:12-17 The Sixth Seal – Then I watched while he broke open the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; the sun turned as black as dark sackcloth and the whole moon became like blood. The stars in the sky fell to the earth like unripe figs shaken loose from the tree in a strong wind. Then the sky was divided like a torn scroll curling up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. The kings of the earth, the nobles, the military officers, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid themselves in caves and among mountain crags. They cried out to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come and who can withstand it?”
There are some other passages that point to the same thing, but I think you get the idea. As for where we are specifically in my timeline, I think we’re in the final countdown to the Rapture. If the U.N. brokers a treaty with Israel, that will be the final sign. When that treaty happens, I’d look for the Rapture about six months later and the beginning of the Trumpet/Bowl events about six months after that. (I have reasons for all this.)
A Rapture event will remove millions of the best people from the planet all at once. There will be chaos from the frightening event of people disappearing, the earthquakes etc., plus car, train, plane etc. crashes. Many devout Christians are in helping professions, so military, police, fire, medical, utility repair, etc. will be suddenly and severely short-handed just as the demand for their services is higher than at any time in history. Every national government will be completely occupied with simply restoring order.
The seventh seal is “about a half hour of silence in Heaven” and the seventh letter is the Jesus knocking one. I believe these add up to about six months during which the Left Behind will have time to hear Him clearly and make their eternal choices.
I have no proof, but I think there’s a possibility that the “silence in Heaven” means that the saints and angels will be allowed to go to Earth with Jesus and help appeal to all the Left Behind. My dd and I have talked about this and we both know people we’ve tried to witness to who just had no interest. But suppose we disappeared in the Rapture, then appeared later to loved ones in person or visions or dreams. Maybe we’d have a big impact. And it would be like Him to let us help. He likes it when we help.
I think after that six months, the Trumpets and Bowls will begin. So, if my interpretation is correct, we’re waiting on the opening of the Sixth Seal.
As to the 20th c up to present horrors, I’ve been saving that for a later blog. I’m not sure if you’re aware, but one of the messages at Medjugorje was that Satan asked God for a century and it was given to him. I think that makes a ton of sense. You wanna get ready to take over the world, you need time to put it all together, right? I’m still working on the Satan’s Century timeline, so more later. Hope this helps!

Yes, thanks. Good point about Satan’s Century. The only question there is finding a time period that’s ONLY 100 years, since things have been ugly for longer than that, but it’s an interesting idea!

I found 2 items that convinced me … 65% of all Christians martyrs ever were killed during the 20th c. and the Charismatic Movement began spontaneously and by surprise on January 1, 1900. God may have allowed Satan’s servants more rein but He didn’t leave us without tools to fight back!

And it might be more martyrs than that. No one really knows how many Christians have been killed by Islamists in the last century, and the number in China is uncertain, too, but potentially very large.
If I would pick, I’d consider the years between 1917 and 2017. That would cover the first triumphs of communism and include the present day. The end date of 2017 may be significant, too, because it may line up with another Medjugorje-like Marian prophesy (Garabandal, Spain). I wouldn’t bet on it, though. I’m always wrong. Always. 🙂

Oooh, interesting! I’ve been pondering when the century started. What was first triumph of communism? And what the Garabandal thing? Linkies? Details? … In my calculations, 2017 is significant.
You know that times, two times and half a time thing? I woke up from a dream one night thinking, “Maybe it’s a word problem.” Since then, I’ve been playing with numbers and found justification for 2013 and 2017. It works out to a very plausible time line, with the beginning of the last seven years this September and the Rapture sometime around Easter 2014.
(Yes, Jesus said we can’t know the date or the hour; he also told us to watch watch watch the signs and the seasons so we’d be ready for Rapture.)
Remember when I figured out that next Easter is the only time in more than a century … which was as far back as I had calendars to check … when Catholic and Orthodox Easter is on the same Sunday as the Jewish Feast of Firstfruits (which the first Easter was)?

The marking of the 144,000 Jews works well with Passover when the Jews celebrate the marking of their houses with lamb’s blood in Egypt so the angel of death would pass over them. The parade with palm branches re-enacts Jesus’ triumphal entry, which originally occurred on Monday of the week He died.
Add six months for the “about half hour of silence” http://www.usccb.org/bible/revelation/8 and you get to the Feast of Trumpets in September for the first Trumpet. The seventh trumpet is the actual last day, which (at one per year) makes six years added to the first year above, for the seven prophesied. The final trumpet in September works too, because it coincides with the Feast of Ingathering (Sukkot). When ELSE would God have all the souls come before the throne?!
In this scenario, Spring of 2017 is smack dab in the middle of the seven years. The last three and a half years of historical time are supposed to be very significant in the reign of the Anti-Christ, when the 2 Witnesses will preach, the faithful will be chased out of Jerusalem and be cared for by God in the desert, and the Anti-Christ will go on a global killing of Christians spree.

The apparitions of Mary at Garabandal, Spain, involve some specific clues about 3 predicted events that may very well overlap, or be a part of the Revelations events. The first is a Warning that will be a spiritual experience felt by everyone on Earth simultaneously, and it “might” correspond with what you describe as the Rapture. Within one year a great miracle will be performed by God in such a way that everyone will know without question that it is of divine origin. The 3rd event is a great chastisement or tribulation. The principal visionary, Conchita Gonzalez, who was 11 years old when the apparitions started, married an American and now lives in New York and knows the date of the miracle (and hence the year of the warning) but is forbidden to announce it until the week before it happens, but she has made preparations recently for doing so. She’s also been allowed to give clues which place it in the springtime of the year and other conditions that lead me to suspect (just my guess) that it might be 2017.

I tried lining up the Garabandal Warning with the Sixth Seal, but it matches up better with the Third Trumpet-Bowl. If my other calculations are correct, this puts the favored date for the Miracle (April 13, 2017) in the right time frame with the Warning and at the mid-point of the 7 years.
I still need to study up more about the witnesses and the flight from Jerusalem. They each are supposed to last 3 1/2 years and I was thinking they were together, but now I’m wondering if the witnesses are first, then the flight happens when they ascend. In any event, the mid-point of the 7 years is significant. And as horrible as all the Trumpets-Bowls are, it makes sense God isn’t going to just sit back and let Satan do whatever he wants. So a big honking miracle would be on the agenda for that time. AND on Holy Thursday!
I love the Marian Apparitions being involved too. With Communism and Islam being Satan’s two big weapons (interesting they’re fundamentally incompatible with each other!), I find it most intriguing that the anti-Communist apparitions were in a town called Fatima.
Fatimah was Muhammad’s only biological daughter and is an “object of great veneration by all Muslims”, because she lived closest to her father and supported him in his difficulties and because she was the only member of Muhammad’s family to give him descendants, numerously spread through the Islamic world.
