Where girls are girls and boys are boys and it never occurs to anyone to wonder if Mothers Day is sexist.
Where God, the Bible and all the values therein are honored, including the one about letting the “wicked be wicked” because “revenge is God’s.”
Where lethal weapons are for feeding the hungry and protecting the innocent, not for making political statements and slaughtering the inconvenient.

Got this in email – It makes me angry when I see people like Michelle “Help Help I’m Being Oppressed!” Obama being held up as a role model, when society shuns those who truly do deserve the accolades. But then I remember what Christ said about people who do things for the praise of the world: “They have their reward.” And then I feel better.

A few weeks ago I got the chance to spend some time with 2 former Bush White House staffers who were also involved with the transition to the current administration. What they had to say about Michelle Obama was not very flattering. Not only was she not anything like the person the fawning media is portraying, she’s “not even a good person.” Then I think of how much of our grandchildren’s money will be spent by her for her international trips and security and entourage over the next 50 years, and I DON’T feel better.
