Pro-life Women Will Make History in 114th Congress
An historic 21 women who define themselves as pro-life will be serving in the 114th Congress, beating the previous high of 18. Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, said that in 1992, when she started the SBA List, there were only two pro-life women in Congress. What a difference a few elections make.
The four new pro-life women joining the House of Representatives include Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Mia Love (R-UT), Barbara Comstock (R-VA) and Mimi Walters (R-CA). As for the Senate, it will gain pro-life fighter Joni Ernst (R-Iowa).

Obama Said he took the Constitution Seriously. Over and Over.
With President Obama about to order an amnesty for illegal immigrants via edict, I thought it would be nice to remember that once there was a time when President Obama believed the Constitution came first, before his parochial political concerns.
Okay, there was no such time. But at least there was a time when he pretended. Here are a few snapshots from that earlier, more innocent era.

The entire St. Louis region is on pins and needles waiting for the court to release their decision on the Mike Brown case. In August protesters looted and vandalized over 100 local businesses.
Wednesday the coalition answered a few questions. They did not back down on their promise to disrupt the city after the court’s decision… Even if Officer Darren Wilson is indicted.

The ex-wife of oil tycoon Harold Hamm said she will appeal her divorce settlement of more than $1 billion, adding through her attorney that the amount is “not equitable” and that she’s “disappointed.”
