Just my opinion, but if you eliminated all but Bush and Trump it could still be the highest-rated debate since Nixon-Kennedy in 1960. People who don’t know politics from mud wrestling will tune in just to see what The Donald has to say. I admit I enjoy watching him tweak the media, I just wish I could trust him. And I don’t for a minute.

Harry Reid: Republicans Have Lost “Moral Compass” Because They Won’t Harvest Baby Kidneys and Livers

On Monday Democrats and Mitch McConnell blocked a bill to defund the Planned Parenthood baby organ harvesting industry.
The Senate voted 53-46 on the cloture motion failing to get the 60 needed to move the bill forward.
Before the vote Harry Reid accused Republicans of losing their “moral compass” for not endorsing Planned Parenthood’s organ harvesting industry.
“It’s out obligation to protect our wives, sisters, our daughters and grand-daughters. The Republican Party has lost its moral compass.”

I believe everyone is outfitted with a moral compass at conception. It’s called a conscience. But you need to calibrate it to TRUTH if you’re going to get good directions out of it. I have not “lost” my moral compass; they have declined to calibrate theirs to God’s Word.

Hillary Clinton to miss AFL-CIO Iowa candidate forum
HER ROYALNESS CAN’T BE BOTHERED WITH SUCH TRIFLING
The Iowa chapter of the AFL-CIO announced Tuesday that it would hold a presidential candidate forum on Thursday, Aug. 6. Notably absent from the list of attendees was front-running candidate Hillary Clinton.
The confirmed attendees so far are Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., former Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee. The event will be held at the Prairie Meadows Convention Center in Altoona, Iowa.

Robert Gray won the Democratic primary for governor over two candidates — Vicki Slater, a trial lawyer backed by much of the Democratic establishment; and Dr. Valerie Adream Smartt Short, an obstetrician-gynecologist.
Gov. Bryant easily defeated his only GOP primary opponent, Mitch Young of Sumrall, a Navy veteran who spent little.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, along with Councilman Jumaane Williams appeared outside Borough Hall Monday to introduce their “Take Five to Stay Alive” program for which they are seeking $10 million from City Hall to help fund. The program was debuted following a weekend that saw 22 shot in the city, three of them fatally. Nine of these were wounded at a single house party in Brooklyn.
“Our children deserve to live, our adults deserve to live. All lives matter,” Adams told reporters. “The temperature rise cannot cause a rise in gun violence.”
