I was brought up Catholic and still to this day I adhere to most of the teachings of the religion. It is very important to maintain one’s relationship with God and Jesus. It helps to live a more moral and spiritual life.

ITA. Also a cradle Catholic, but my family never but never talked about faith at all. We went to Mass and got shunted off to CCD. One of my favorite memories was the one Lent that my folks decided to go to daily Mass and took me and my younger brother. We’d go to the diner after for breakfast. It made a huge impression on me, but I really floundered in high school, became clinically depressed and suicidal. If it hadn’t have been for the priest who ran the youth group in a neighboring parish – ours had nothing for teens – and a devout Baptist classmate …. dunno what would’ve become of me.
