Mascot Day happens to coincide with the Day of the Unborn Child, chosen no doubt because it is the Feast of the Annunciation, the day we celebrate the angel Gabriel’s appearance to the Virgin Mary and her willing acceptance of God’s choice for her to bear the Messiah. Today also marks the end of my third full week here.
To honor all of these auspicious occasions, I’m going to post this little ad for this before and after birth, Baby Buzz, Pro-Life t-shirt. I’ve purchased three Zazzle t-shirts so far. The images have all been nicely printed and gone through the wash without a problem. I’ve tried two different styles and sizes of shirt. Quality and fit were what I would have expected for a similar price and style shirt purchased elsewhere. And just for the record, I get 10% on each sale.

These were interesting articles today. I hope that 4 of the SC Justices will vote to fast-track the health care case. It would save the taxpayers a lot of money for a case that we know will end up in the SCOTUS anyway. But, I’m just practical like that, what do I know?

LOL … that works too, but it’s kinda slow when you needs to move your vehicle, neh? I advised 2 tricks I learned from more experienced drivers when I was a young sprout here in icy central New York. Kitty litter (for traction) and windshield wiper fluid (which contains antifreeze).

So Republicans and tea partiers don’t deserve the rights guaranteed to all citizens by the Constitution? Interesting. Not really a stretch for old Frank, though. He doesn’t believe children in the womb should have their rights protected, either. Once you’ve decided one group of human beings has no rights, it gets easier and easier to deny those rights to other groups of human beings whom you dislike. Frank is 87 years old, the oldest person currently serving in the Senate, and God help him if someday he needs expensive medical attention and someone decides he no longer qualifies for it due to his advanced age.

Damn straight! I get so irritated with politicians who think government is the source of our rights. Of course, they prefer it that way, since what the government gives, it can also take away.
