A while back, AromaThyme sent a tip about putting a T of salt in your palm, adding a couple drops of lavender and scrubbing your hands with it. For beautiful hands? I thought it sounded nuts. But later that day, my hands were so rough and dry from cleaning, I figured what the hey. Couldn’t hurt, right? And Oh My Goodness … it works!

So here’s another one that came today.

    1/2 Cup Sea salt
1/4 cup Sweet Almond Oil or any other carrier oil.
8 drops Pink Grapefruit, 2 drops Geranium

Add essential oil to Almond Oil, Pour it over salts and stir to blend.
To use, gently massage into damp skin and rinse with warm water.

This would be a nice treat to give yourself when you’ve got the low down, feeling blah MUNCHIES. Not only would it give you something to do BESIDES eat those cookies you have stashed behind the granola … but also citrus is known to uplift the mood and grapefruit in particular is known to reduce sugar cravings.

RE: carrier oils … Fractionated Coconut Oil is the only one that will not stain your clothes. AromaThyme sells it in 8oz and larger bottles. I always have some on hand for mixing.

RE: http://www.aromathyme.com/ — I’m not on retainer! LOL I just really like her products, prices and customer service. Besides, I like to support home-based, female-owned businesses.

Trump ups the ante By Bill Weckesser – April 11, 2011
    http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/04/trump_ups_the_ante.html

Donald Trump says, “For some reason, the press protects President Obama beyond anything or anyone I have ever seen. What they don’t realize is that if he was not born in the United States, they would have uncovered the greatest “scam” in the history of our country. In other words, they would become the hottest writer since Watergate, or beyond.”

Donald Trump Scores an Important Victory… Over the Media By By Seth Forman – April 11, 2011
    http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/04/donald_trump_scores_an_importa.html

“The media’s curiosity about the background of those running for national office seemed to know no bounds when it came to George W. Bush’s service in the Texas Air National Guard or the sexual behavior of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s daughter. But during and since the 2008 campaign a virtual wall of silence has been constructed around Obama. … Even Trump admits that the evidence strongly suggests Obama was born in Hawaii and is an American citizen. But that Obama has not yet released this information, and that the media refuses to criticize him for not doing so, is a testament not to the insanity of the “birthers,” but to Obama’s penchant for secrecy, and the dangerous amount of latitude the media has been willing to cede him.”
