Oh, Lord, this brings back memories for me. When my son was 4 and his baby sister was 6 months old I decided to make these fabric banners for grandparents for Christmas. Red handprints at the top, a green stripe going down to green footprints at the bottom. It made sort of a flower. But I had to lift each child and carry them straight up two flights of stairs to the bathtub when it was all over. And then tackle the basement floor. It was the biggest mess we ever made, and I can laugh about it now, but I sure could not back then. Did I mention the red and green streaks going up the walls of the stairwells?
But still, homemade gifts are the best. Happy Birthday, Daddy Buzz!
