July 24, 2008: A crowd of about 100,000 gathered in Berlin today to hear Barack Obama speak.

Can you imagine, back in 2008, any college-aged white girl NOT enthusiastically declaring her intention to vote for Teh Won? Me neither.
I hope you can forgive me for enjoying this all so much. This man has harmed my family. I might get over what he’s done to my life, but Mama Grizzly is not about to get over what he’s done to my KIDS.

I will not either, Chrissy. He is my worst nightmare, the cause of many sleepless nights and the cause of a perpetual feeling of loss for the country I love so much but hardly recognize.

Inauguration Day 2009: I unplugged the phone, stayed off the net, kept the blinds closed, and spent the day fighting off depression with a series of my favorite DVD flicks.

I think sales of anti-depressants increased dramatically when Øbama became president…. along with sales of firearms, ammunition, and copies of “Atlas Shrugged.” (The latter three are documented to have happened; the former is just my hunch.)
I didn’t resort to drink or drugs, but I did spend several days just staring at the computer screen playing stupid games to keep my mind off of how screwed we were.

Add hair dye to the list as mine is almost white.

I know a retired Army sniper who works in a very liberal office. He says after The Zero got elected, co-workers were sneaking in to ask him to help them buy a gun and teach them to shoot. I didn’t think to ask him if they were all white. Interesting thought there. I definitely saw more news stories than just the Black Panther case Holder dropped about blacks beating up whites for not supporting Teh Won.

I feel better after seeing these kinds of things.

I had seen the garage sale rally on Pete’s Grudge, but I had not seen the video before. That just about says it all about our media, doesn’t it?
