One of the guys who was stabbed was on the radio this morning talking about this. What was interesting was that everyone else was running in the opposite direction. The victim, whose cell phone was stolen, went after the perp, but did not know he had an accomplice. The perp never fired his gun, and could have been killed if he had. It was the accomplice who did the stabbings. I am wondering if this was some kind of gang initiation?

My concern is that the GOP spends too much time on this and the press sides against them, like they did with Clinton. Clinton was a lying snake but came out the hero because of the press, and because the GOP spent way too much time on the whole process. I will never understand why people think Clinton was a good president. He was the one who started all this devisiveness because his actions were so polarizing. He will never be anything buy creepy to me, just like Al Gore and John Edwards. Why do dems get away with such horrible behavoir, but republicans are called out for high school high jinx?

When Capone was finally sent to prison for tax evasion, the Chicago polititians simply adopted mob tactics to run the city and so nothing has changed. They continue to use political appointments for every aspect of city government from this hospital board led by the likes of Valerie Jarrett, who hired her buddie Moochelle to the school board, which is not made up of citizens who are voted in like most towns.
The new mafia even plowed under the old Italian neighborhood where my grandparents lived to build U of Chicago. My grandfather never forgave the way they took over his home, after condemning it and forced everyone out, just like Jarrett later did with the projects.
Chicago is a fascist city, through and through.
