AMERICAN HISTORY: On October 20, 1917, US suffragette Alice Paul began a seven-month jail sentence for peacefully picketing in support of the Women’s Suffrage (right to vote) Amendment at the White House in Washington, D.C. A little less than three years later, the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote, was added to the U.S. Constitution.
BORDER: I voted for this.
DEMOCRATS: CLICK https://x.com/greg_price11/status/2111591935521718517 [:25] to hear Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin explain how she wants to prosecute everyone who works for President Trump so that young conservatives coming out of school will be too fearful to work in a Republican administration.
DOUBLE STANDARDS: You know the saying … if they didn’t have double standards, they would have no standards at all.
ELDER CARE: @Leonajardinho posted about a coworker whose mother had passed away, leaving her modest $190,000 house to him, which he believed to be free and clear. Then Medicaid contacted him about the $114,000 lien against the property title to cover the cost of her end-of-life care.
Leona then complained, “A lifetime of working-class savings, wiped out overnight by a retroactive healthcare lien. You don’t own generational wealth. You’re just holding a property title until the state finds a legal mechanism to repossess it the moment you die.“
FRANCE: Far-left mobs stormed and rioted in multiple cities, including Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Lille. Estimates claim 550,000 people marched and that police made 1,800 arrests.
According to an investigation by Fox News, there are at least 54 organizations behind the protests. They include communist parties, revolutionary socialist groups, labor unions, Palestine-solidarity organizations and international media outlets working to transform grievances into a full-blown revolt against capitalism, government austerity and military spending.
Fox News says they’re gearing up for a November 20 action under the slogan “Fight for Our Future, Not Their Wars,” which is calling for walkouts, blockades, occupations and mass demonstrations.

LIFE: The pro-abortion group Stand with Abortion Now (S.W.A.N.) posted this “humorous” ad on Instagram. They not only know that abortion is murder; they celebrate it and think it’s funny.

MAHA: Reduce the power to half and cook for twice as long. Microwave ovens are either on or off. “Half power” doesn’t mean the waves are half as powerful; it means the machine cycles between on and off 50% of the time. Since microwaves only heat the outer 1/4″ of the food, by turning the waves on and off, you let the heat transfer via convection from the outside to the inside of the food.
NASA: Ingenuity was the first machine to fly on another planet. Its last flight was in January 2024 when its blades were damaged while landing. The Perseverance rover later spotted it far away, still sitting alone on the sand dunes.
SCIENCE: A study entitled “Multimodal examination of the acute effects of cannabis on subjective and physiological stress-related outcomes: a randomized placebo-controlled laboratory study” was published in the journal, Neuropsychopharmacology. It reported that 120 regular cannabis users experienced the same degree of relaxation with a placebo as they did with marijuana. “There really appears to be an expectancy effect.”
GRAMMY NOTES: I took these while I was sprawled on the deck pondering how I was going to get back inside. I figured since I hadn’t broken the camera and had already paid a steep price for the “frost on the flowers” pics, I might as well take them!
