Yet we have a leader who not only is pro-abortion but while serving in the state senate did everything he could to prevent medical care to infants who survived abortion. Sorry, it doesn’t get much sicker than that.

So true, Kelly. One of the most depressing things about 2008 (a year when there was a lot to get depressed about) was the number of Christians who were willing to overlook the fact that Barack Obama was the most pro-abortion person ever to run for president. I’m old enough and have seen enough that nothing should shock me anymore, but I was shocked at this. I’m talking about people who would self-identify as sincere Christian AND as totally pro-life, and who would bristle if you questioned either their faith or their pro-life credentials… but they were so besotted with the Marxist Mulatto that they just ignored what he really stood for. It actually resulted in the end of some friendships of very long standing — I felt as though I couldn’t have a meaningful relationship with anyone who was that delusional, not to mention culpable for the disaster of Barack Obama in the White House.
