THE WEDNESDAY GRUDGE

Posted by Pistol Pete

Since you ladies were discussing France yesterday,it reminded me of something I heard about a French student complaining to his American friend that all French students are required to learn English. His American friend pointed out to him that were it not for the Americans,Canadians,British and Australians,he and his friends would be speaking German.

OBAMA LOSES 36 COUNTIES TO UNKNOWN DEMOCRAT,66 COUNTIES TO ‘UNCOMMITTED’
Think he’ll get the message?Nah,he’ll just shrug it off and rationalize he wasn’t going to win those states anyway

You are not being just optimistic, PP, you are being real. We know the undercurrents of what is happening in the country, even though the beltway tries to hide it. It is going to be a landslide against BHO unless he can pull out some kind of lying coup, which I am sure he will try.
We do have God on our side. I have maintained from day one of his campaign that this country needed a BHO. We needed a wake up call in this celebrity obsessed society. Well, we elected a celebrity and at the sleeping giant is awake and stomping out this disease of apathy.
I drive my eeyore friends crazy with my optimism. My husband says I am nuts if I think barry will lose. He may still take IL, thanks to crook county but they can’t stuff all the ballots elsewhere with all the new GOP SOS’s.
Keep thinking positive thoughts. The sun will shine again on the White House.

I have felt for a long time that the media is so preoccupied with protecting his bony ass they are clueless as to the mood of all the barefoot,gun-and-Bible toting hicks like us between Manhattan and Malibu. There’s a reckoning coming and it will be bloody.

As hard as these years have been, GP, I believe you are 100% right. And I think the real reason is not so much the lying media as the tendency of people to project their own values on others.

We’ve seen how the Lefties do this, accusing us all the time of thinking and doing whatever it is they are thinking and doing.

But it works t’other way too. Those of us who hold traditional values may not always live up to them, but we BELIEVE in stuff like honesty and tolerance and “innocent until proven guilty.”

I think it took the extravagant and appalling behavior of the Obama Democrats and the lapdog media to finally wake us up to the fact that both of them are lying SCUM.

I believe the single biggest achievement of the Obama-Pelosi years has been the birth of the Tea Party.

I am sure she looked at the big picture before making this endorsement. Sarah knows people are watching and does not take endorsing lightly. Just because others may say they are tea party candidates, does not always mean they are.

“Just because others may say they are tea party candidates, does not always mean they are.” Which is exactly why her endorsement matters to so many of us.

I spent a lot of time yesterday arguing with a couple of demwits who believe this propaganda. It does not matter if the stuff is true or not. The democRats will continue to put it out there, because their sheep will believe it all. If we had an honest press, instead of one that aids and abets, imagine what the polls would look like.

GALLUP SHOWS OBAMA IS LOSING THE ‘WAR ON WOMEN.’
Married women prefer Romney 55-38.Perhaps its because they know what it costs to gas up the minivan, put food on the table and buy clothes and shoes for their kids.

The Dem’s welfare policies have been busy busy busy destroying marriage for decades. As Romney said, “If you subsidize it, you’ll get more of it.”

        • Destroying marriage and the family is the best way (other than immigration) that democrats have to increase their voter base. I remember reading an article shortly after Obama was elected — the author analyzed the vote by demographic groups, and concluded that Obama’s win was the result of shifting demographics. In other words, each demographic group voted pretty much the way people in that group usually vote: white married women with children mostly vote republican, single black mothers almost always vote democrat, married white men who own small businesses usually vote republican, etc. Anyway, according to this guy’s analysis, what made the difference in 2008 was that the demographic groups that tend democrat have grown so much and the groups that tend republican are shrinking — almost entirely a product of family breakdown.

I’m curious how this is playing out now, seeing as the black birth rate is lower than its death rate and the Black Conservative movement seems to be thriving.

I’ve also been noticing change in the Catholic and Jewish blocs which the GOP rightly lost hold of many decades ago with their anti-Black, anti-Catholic and anti-Jewish platforms. A LOT of us got “Democrat good, Republican evil” in our mother’s milk. But Obama Democrats are NOT like the party of underdogs that stuck up for outsider groups.

I visited Rome in the mid-60s. Italian street vendors had JFK’s photo in their stalls. It was as big a deal for Catholics to have a president as it is for Blacks. That the American Catholic Church is ganging up to SUE a Democrat administration is just mind boggling.

You are so right Chrissie-The orginal low income housing for blacks that were built in chicago, and eventually became “the projects” started out as thriving communities. But soon, it became illegal to have men there who were not working, so the men moved on and left the women to raise the kids. This totally emasculated these men, and the gang mentally took over the kids, and the whole “project” failed. And who was behind this? None other than Valerie Jarretts dear old dad.

The really SICK part of all this is how Black leaders HELPED FURTHER the anti-Black racist policies. They like to call people like Herman Cain “house negroes” but I think the true collaborators in the quest to keep Blacks poor, dumb and dependent are people like Jarrett, Jesse Jackson and the rest of their ilk.
