Our tax dollars at work, creating citizens who hate their own nation. I saw somewhere that anyone who makes $34,000 or more is in the top 1% of the WORLD. Here, we call that “beneath the poverty line.” My kids met real poverty up close in the Middle East. It’s where people go to bed grateful for surviving war, hunger and disease for one more day, not where they hang out at the campus pub repeating Marxist talking points. It’s where people can’t hope for a better life for their kids because there are no schools, not where they bitch about not having a free ride through college. It’s where people cherish the bucket they use to get water at the only tap in the village, not where they bitch at the landlord because the shower isn’t hot enough.
