AARP abandons USS Obama

October 4, 2012 AARP Statement on the Denver Presidential Debate:

“While we respect the rights of each campaign to make its case to voters, AARP has never consented to the use of its name by any candidate or political campaign.     The AARP pushed for obamacare because they made millions. But they did not count on conservatives bailing from their left wing org. They can run but they can’t hide. Serves them right.

    AARP is only non-partisan when they find themselves on the losing side of things. They must think all their members have cognitive issues and won’t recognize this obvious attempt at damage control. Insulting the intelligence of your target demographic: not smart.
