      My good-looking BMOC jock brother was tapped by the favorite male candidate for high school senior class president. The opponent was female and this was back in … oh, dinosaur ages. Ummm, doing the math. 1959-1960. The favored guy thought having hunky bro as a third party would draw off female votes from the uppity feminist. But it backfired. Bro won. He didn’t care, didn’t want it. But hey, it was kinda fun and not much work.     They single out Ohio,Iowa and Nevada.Ohio and Iowa I can understand.There is no way he wins Nevada if the same SEIU crew that ‘maintained’ the voting machines in Clark County turned a 4 point Reid deficit on election day to a 6 point win gets anywhere near them.They’re talking about Pennsylvania,which they tease us with every cycle,but Philly is like Chicago…they come up with enough votes to win.I’m hearing Romney is close in Minnesota.If he pulled that off,which I doubt he will,it will be a blowout.Even Reagan’s 49 state landslide in 1984 did not include Minnesota.

      Reagan lost Minnesota by a surprisingly slim margin, and then only because it was his opponent’s home state. Also, as Chrissy pointed out in an earlier post, the Democrat media were skewing pre-election polls to make it look as if Reagan was behind in California, which he was not. But some in his campaign believed it, and they moved resources to California that could otherwise have been used in Minnesota. This likely deprived Reagan of what would otherwise have been a 50-state sweep (although Mondale would still have been elected president of the District of Columbia.) 🙂
