For Michael Smith. He is an investigative journalist, a former policeman, and a former member of the armed services.
Michael left his radio job over a disagreement with management concerning the AWU scandal that embroils the Sub-Prime. Michael’s professionalism has started to pay big dividends.
There are many people following the story, and many of them belong to unions. In fact the story would not have reached the light of day if it had not been for some former union officials who have doggedly kept fighting for justice.
One man who was involved in the scandal is due to make a statement on the record with the Victorian police. This is all thanks to Michael Smith.

I’m thankful for my parents God blessed me with. His love and strength shines through them even in the toughest of times. They have been the best example for me in life and the best example of marriage.

Pardon me while I add a gratitude coda and wipe my leaky eyes … our regulars know that Corporal K is my youngest daughter.

Thank you both for your service to us all!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
I am spending mine with my Nam vet uncle.
As the saying goes,

if you have the freedom to read this,
Thank a soldier!

I am so very thankful for my wonderful children, as well as the rest of my family (and friends)! I am also thankful for technology…without cellphones (a.k.a. unlimited long distance) and the internet, it would be very hard to keep in touch with everyone while we live the nomadic life of a military family!
