I’ve been meaning to post for the last few days but never seemed to get around to it.I’ve kept up with the news online as best I could,but the stupidity is ceaseless.I’ll try to post some of the more interesting things I’ve gathered because I do tend to go on when things get out of hand.I do have some interesting non-political items,which I think we all like,just for a change.

I am about to take two octogenarian ladies to Florida for a week. I am staying clear of all Bingo games and Avon, Tupperware, etc. But no way will I be able to get out of playing cards with them. I think I have to take them to EPCOT, too. Pray for me 🙂

Ting, pick up some cheapie hearing aids and then the whole time fiddle with them like you can’t get the darn things to work, “What?” “Oh, I don’t know; you two ladies figure it out.” Presto! No getting caught in the middle of any decisions (do you really want to get in the middle of a decision as to which fast food place to stop and pee?) Speaking of going to the bathroom, have accounted for the extra ‘age stops’ in your travel/driving plans? Really, you should have a hidden camera in the car and go viral with the trip…..

A hidden camera might be a HOOT!! They are sweet ladies, both deaf as a post, so the hearing aids might not be necessary. They can’t hear each other’s ideas anyway! Sorry to say I may be all in for the age-related stops myself.

Actually, I saw an old guy zipping around in one of those motorized wheelie chairs. He got to cut lines and everything. You may find that Doing Disney with Grannies can have many advantages.

I really think it may end up being kind of fun. These ladies take after their mother, who in her 80’s used to get all dressed up every day and walk about 8 blocks to the downtown department stores to shop and have lunch in the tea rooms. One day she was strolling along downtown when a young black man came running up behind her and grabbed her purse. She took off running after him in her high heels, yelling “Stop, thief!” Two business men stopped her from following him into an alley and while they were standing there talking to her, she saw the thief go up the front steps and into an old fleabag hotel. He had dropped her purse in the alley and the police found it. Some day I will have to tell you all about the trial that followed. It is one of those stories that nobody in our family will ever forget!

You know with all the gun stuff the nra and everyone is putting out, no one is being helpful in sharing how to get unregistered guns without having to buy from gang members (o/t thought, why do we no longer say ‘gangster’ but now ‘gang members’?) Back to topic. Really the ads should be about noncompliance of what already is on the books. This would be hard for nra as they helped with some of the limiting legislation over the years as part of negotiating our rights. They should be promoting a ‘screw registration’ plan; all within the law, of course. Something like promoting nra members go buy three new guns (yeah, how you gonna get them anyways now). Each gun purchase will require a check. Next, they take those guns and resell to individuals who sell it to another individual and repeat three or four more times. Each of the private sales are with no background check. No record. No track. All within the current law.
Or start a campaign to not apply for ccw, as totally unconstitutional. Wish I had never got my ccw and just carried anyway. . . .The NRA is a little late to the party. Bet they settle or ‘negotiate’ no ammo registration in exchange for mandatory gun insurance, which Americans already have and was pre-purchased by founding fathers and held onto by our WWII soldiers. NRA should be plastering all over pics of Constitutions with headline saying “Gun owner Insurance Policy”. Mark my words, the NRA is going to sell Americans down the river. They already are biggie pushers for insurance policies. Most hobby and professional organizations get all their advertising from insurance companies.

I was thinking about this kind of thing watching a t.v. show last night. In it, a guy with a gun decides the boss who laid him off deserves to DIE for depriving him of a job and health insurance. I kept thinking, “How often did it ever occur to you to THANK THAT MAN for your job and health insurance during all the years you were employed?!” Schmuck.

I once had to fire a (leftist) man for doing basically nothing all day, every day at work. He received coaching, followed by verbal warnings, followed by written warnings and performance development plans, followed by a final written warning. When I finally had no other choice, I terminated him and gave him $40 for cab fare home. And he actually asked ME how could I sleep at night! I told him he should be asking himself that question, considering it was his behavior and work habits that led us to this point. Leftists cannot handle the concept of personal responsibility.
