Yesterday was an emotional day and another effort by democrats to show what a miserable,hateful,vindictive pack of curs they really are.Cnn dropped the coverage as soon as it was announced there was a verdict in the Jody Arias trial.Anything to avoid doing their job.The way the democrats tore the witnesses apart was nothing short of shameful.It fit the pattern Lady Iron Panties used to smear the victims of her partner,Sir Sexual Predator,the horny hick.Whether this damages her in any way remains to be seen.I’m not hopeul.I do know that as of right now the only republican with the balls to stand on the same stage and confront her about facing the families of her victims and blaming a video when she knew it was a bald-faced lie is Ted Cruz.The left already hates him.Will the GOPe allow him to run?Support him?Don’t hold your breath.

Fun! There were fireworks across the street last night at the University of Richmond. I guess for the end of senior exams or something like that. There is a beautiful lake in the middle of the campus and they always do the fireworks over the lake. They are nothing like the ones in this video, but quite professional nonetheless. On Saturday night they will have them again, around 10:00 PM after some party for graduates and their families. The actual graduation is always on Mothers’ Day in the afternoon.
This is a fun wedding weekend for us. One of my goddaughters is getting married on Saturday – to a doctor! My friend and I are giving the Rehearsal Dinner tomorrow night and I am just exhausted already. I have entertained quite a bit over the years, but I have never cooked for 75 people before now. I thought for sure that I would have a garden full of roses and peonies when we planned to have this, but I have only 4 peonies to cut tonight. There must be a thousand buds out there of one kind or another, but the spring has been so cold they are all delayed.
I’ll check back in again with you guys in a few days – wish me luck. I hope I’m not too tired to dance Saturday night….
