“I’ve had some of the pro-gun lobbyists on here, saying to me, ‘Well, the reason we need to be armed is because of tyranny from our own government,’ and I’ve always laughed at them,” Morgan said. “I said, ‘Don’t be ridiculous! Your government won’t turn itself on you. …
“But, actually, this is vaguely tyrannical behavior by the American government.”
He continued, “I think what the IRS did is bordering on tyrannical behavior. I think what the Department of Justice has done to the AP is bordering on tyrannical behavior.”
Jillette agreed with Morgan, stating, “There’s no doubt about that. Once you use the word ‘bordering,’ that’s true.
“I also think that it shows you that how much we can trust the government and just sit back– which is not very much at all. We have to be ever vigilant.”

My fave part was when he was forced to admit he was being PAID to show up. When the IRS sues you, you’re on your own defending yourself.

Here is a woman we will need to learn much more about in the coming weeks. Sarah Hall Ingram is a highly valued employee at the IRS. In the last three years she has received $103,390 in bonuses for her excellent work. She was the Commissioner of the Tax-Exempt and Government Entitles Division. Under her leadership, groups that expressed a fear of large, out-of-control government were systematically crushed by her branch of our large, out-of-control government. They were specifically singled out for harassment for political reasons. Secret information about the conservative applicants was leaked to leftist opposition groups to facilitate further harassment.

Well of course I now cannot remember where I read about it – maybe it was here – but did you all see about the lawsuit against the IRS for improperly accessing the medical records of over 10 million Americans? The article said that almost every judge in CA and many members of the Screen Actors Guild and Directors Guild had their medical records in this batch. Just wait until all the stars have their plastic surgery records released – I bet we start hearing a different tune from Hollywood then.

I’m pretty sure I read a story about a NYS veteran who had his gun confiscated because he was taking anti-depressants. As I recall, the guy had done nothing wrong. Somebody accessed his medical records and informed someone else that he was taking a drug that, let me think how many of those turds in office take too, and they used it as an excuse to disarm a veteran.
I am having flashes of the IRS accessing and leaking and demanding our info under the guise of “determining” if our health insurance policies meet Obamacare standards or if we should be slapped with a big ol’ fine or thrown in the slammer … but “of course” it would have “nothing to do with” our political or religious beliefs.

Didn’t the Clintons do something like that too? I seem to remember them doing something with bunch of supposedly confidential files of some sort, but it was so long ago and my memory is pathetic. Does anyone remember the specifics?

Not sure. I think there was something about firing workers in the travel office. And something about some old law files of Hillary’s that nobody could find, until they did find them years later in her office.

Yeah, I remember that, now that you mention it… but I could’ve sworn there was something involving confidential files they weren’t supposed to have, but they did. You know, the sort of shenanigan that if a Republican did it, they’d be calling for impeachment, if not the death penalty.

I remember on LifeTalk hearing many times that the Pro-Life movement was harassed and targeted during the Clinton years, then things got better under Bush only to worsen again as soon as Obama moved in. Interesting thing though … there was more progress against abortion and more passion for the unborn during Clinton and Obama. Reminds me of how the church grows under persecution and gets complacent or downright corrupt under prosperity.

From the getgo, the idea of our health records being in some main computer has been the single most infuriating part of obamacare for me.
When I went through cancer treatments, I remember feeling so violated because they took pictures of my breast during radiation to document the damage. I remember saying, as I lay there in tears that I did not like that, but they assured me it was only for my own records and would not be seen by anyone unauthorized. HA!
I think about all the ways I felt violated during that time, and the idea that now this can all be seen by any scumbag with a security clearance just puts me over the edge.
I am at the point where I do not want to go to the doctor for anything anymore, which is why I work so hard to stay healthy.
Any hacker can get into our private record as well.
We have no personal freedom in this country any more.
Will enough people finally stand up to this tyranny and give us our freedom back?
Will enough democrats get their blinders off to stop this fascist regime before it is too late?
