Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News has been one of the few reporters attempting to dig deep into controversial stories. But after her work on Fast & Furious and Benghazi, she is now reporting that she’s been shut out of the information loop by the White House. She has been so far reaching in her work that she was dubbed a “persistent voice of media skepticism” by The Washington Post.
There are rumors that her boss, David Rhodes, may fire her for being too effective. Ben Rhodes, the CBS executive’s brother, also happens to be one of the operatives in the Obama administration directly involved in the Benghazi talking points. Now, in an interview with CSPAN, Attkisson says that she has been frozen out by Obama’s White House.

Just read Kevin DuJan’s article on why the Obamas surrendered their law licenses. He says they’re just too lazy to keep up the continuing ed creds and have no intention of practicing law ever, not that either ever did, cuz it’s like actual work.
That sounds totally plausible for Barack’s, which is listed as “voluntarily surrendered.” But Michelle’s says “court ordered inactive.” To me that bit is still fishy.

It’s the first time since I left that I did click on a link to HB, but I spent such a lot of time on this issue myself and I believe it is one of my most-clicked blogs ever, so I was too curious not to go look. I am related to a lawyer who told me there are 2 reasons people stop being lawyers — being naughty or deciding they loathe being lawyers. I also found a ton of evidence for career pols who keep their licenses current … Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon among them. So Obama’s excuses rang hollow, until I read Kevin’s take, which included something I had not considered which was CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS. Now that I can totally see the Obamas being way too lazy to bother with, though given how totally sleazy they are and how corrupt Chicago is, I still just don’t totally buy it that Mooch didn’t get her yanked for ethical violations while she was working in Daleys office. His says “voluntarily surrendered”; hers says “court ordered retired.”
