As a teacher, I really appreciate this comment on the article – “Schools teach teachers how to teach in an ideal world that doesn’t exist. Once they get hired, administrators want teachers to forget everything and get the kids to pass the test. Reality is, teachers are so over stretched that they’re just happy if they make their lesson plans, grade homework, and maybe make it through the day without a parent calling because they don’t see how their kid was wrong for slamming their chair around.”
That “ideal world” phrase was specifically used in my classes as a test technique. Add that to the painfully low level classes and certification tests, (you can get certified in anything!) you end up with the blind leading the blind, right off a cliff. And the veteran teachers are often not much better because there is no reason to improve skills through the years. If you cannot figure out how to check your email, for example, then perhaps someone should rethink your overall qualifications for the job.

I’ll tell you why the Democrats want Amnesty to be an election issue. It isn’t because they give a damn about illegal immigrants. They want it to tear the Republican party to pieces so they base will be so disgusted they stay home rather than vote for another Rubio or McCain or Lindsay Graham, etc. The Dems couldn’t care less about the Latino vote. I think it is working out beautifully for them because too many GOP “leaders” are too stupid to figure it out, or just don’t care as long as they keep riding the gravy train themselves. But you knew that didn’t you, Pete. If little old “us” can see it, why in the world can’t they? I think they can but they just don’t care about doing the right thing.

Exactly! More neighborhoods and children have been saved from illiteracy through the Parish Schools. How dare he attack them at their core: living out their faiths in the teaching of the children. If it is not the CRI (Communism Religious Indoctrination) of the public schools, it must be ridiculed and identified as the problem. He is trying to build his following to be a world leader. Ya think it will work? With it being all the foreign countries reporting the truths of all his failures and scandals? Like, I think the world knows he is a problem. I for one feel safer with him out of the country.
