When it comes down to watching union bosses throw truckloads of cash at the anti-business party and putting it in your own pocket people always seem to put their own self-interest first.Funny how that happens.I believe it was in Indiana where they made paying union dues voluntary,the participation dropped from 100% to under 5%.

That was what happened in Wisconsin after that creepy ass cracka governor of ours announced that the state would no longer deduct union dues from teachers’ salaries and turn them over to the union. If the teachers want to contribute to the union, they now have to do it (gasp!) voluntarily. Participation plummeted. Pardon me while I go look for my surprised face….

That is the way it is in VA, too. We have never had mandatory union dues for govt. employees, and it is almost impossible for them to get a Union rep in each school because there are just not enough members. But the pay in my district is really good for teachers. They always want their raises, but there is really not much complaint otherwise.
