    Is it the Vitamin A from the liver that they need, I wonder?

      The staining is from a chronic red yeast infection. Dunno what the beef liver does to control it. I’m just glad it works. The staining was ugly, so I’m glad he looks nicer. But the real problem was how uncomfortable he was with the yeast growing in his eyes.

        We found a bison liver product called Wee Bit by Solid Gold (which is sold at Ithaca Grain and Pet Supply) that was formulated for small dogs and has the side effect of clearing up the red weepy eye infection… It is easy on sensitive stomachs and is a lot less expensive to use than Angels’ Eyes which we also used at one time, with less success! http://www.solidgoldhealth.com/products/?product=68&code=143
