Weird but true … I just got an email from the Associate Producer of the Queen Latifah Show. (No, it was not spam.) I was once in a teen pageant with Mary McDonnell (Major Crimes). She won. I came in 2d.
Mary is coming on the show and the AP was hoping I had a photo or something. Wish I did. My family didn’t take pictures. The only memento I have is the sheet music for “Hello Muddah Hello Faddah” that I bought to prepare my talent act.
I asked her how she ever tracked me down and she said, “Thank you for getting back to me Chrissy! I just did a google search for “Miss Teen Ithaca” and “Mary McDonnell” and your blog post came up about coming in second place after her :)”
You gotta love Google! LOL
