Don’t know how much time I have. We had to take the car to the dealership(about an hour away) yesterday for a repair issue. We’re driving a loaner and are waiting to see if they get it done today. I just have a backlog I need to thin out. I have some very special things planned for Christmastime next week. Stay tuned. I’m planning a special grumpy cat post Monday.

Imagine how many are voting in IL where we have motor voter and Chicago is a sanctuary city (one of the reasons for all the gang banging murders). Keep in mind, we ended up with a demwit Gov. on the recount by only 200 votes. That’s 2 votes per county.
It is really easy to cheat when you get to draw the lines and count the votes.

Timely, Pete! Dearest is out shopping and just called to ask a question about my list. I told him to buy as many light bulbs as he could. If they don’t overturn the stupid law, we’ll have to find a black market source. Or, oh I know, go to the Res. It’s not that far from us. They’ll sell anything the feds ban that people want, cuz they CAN.

A word to the wise: you can buy incandescent bulbs by the case on Amazon.com. I stocked up on bulbs back when the ban was passed, and I probably have enough to last for about ten years… but I’m thinking about buying more, because I’m thinking they may be useful for bartering.

How can it be overturned? All the US manufacturing has shut down. And now we are getting most of those used bulbs from China. Just another example of how dems kill jobs.

So far as I know, this was always true. It’s why my folks sold their house to my brother years before they were old enough to need care. They didn’t want one of them to end up in a nursing home and the other to end up homeless because the feds took the house to pay the home.

Yep, when my grandmother went to a nursing home. The state got all she had left. It wasn’t much, but my uncles had to scrape by to bury her.

It’s always been the case, but back in the old days most people who qualified for Medicaid didn’t usually have a lot of assets. Now with Obamacare, lots of people are going to end up on Medicaid who own houses and other valuable property, because of the way the system is rigged.
