Authorities say Big Mouth Billy Bass, the popular motion-activated, animatronic novelty display “as seen on TV” scared away a would-be burglar.
The bass, mounted by the shop’s door, apparently broke into strains of “Take Me to the River” when the intruder broke in. The Olmstead County Sherriff’s Office said the intruder left in a hurry.
