      Something like this happened in Ithaca, TWICE. The city blew more than $100K of taxpayer money trying to ban a preacher from the Commons based on an insane noise ordinance that the sound specialist demonstrated was violated by the striking of a leather shoe heel on the pavement!

      Then, another preacher doing the exact same thing, was again arrested. He showed the police the copy of the first preacher’s court decision. They ignored it and took him in anyway. Another $8K thrown away by the city. To top it off, the mayor THEN said she was “sorry” and they “never intended to deprive anybody of their 1st Amendment rights.”

      Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure you didn’t.
