That’s Officer Peach to you, scumbag!

The statement below was reportedly written in response to a barrage of requests from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for an account from PC Peach, despite officers explaining to the law service that Peach was a K9 officer.

Many bloggers picked up the story, including the claim that the Professional Standards Department (PSD) would be investigating the police department for making a false statement.  The story is dated a  year ago, but I was unable to find any follow-up about what punishment PSD imposed on Officer Peach.  Maybe he was suspended without Milk Bones for a week.
