Mama Buzz took this photo on Oct 30th. I have NEVER seen such GINORMOUS snowflakes!!! I guess Alaska is like Texas; they make everything bigger there. 🙂
For some reason, it never occurred to me before that snowflakes are 3 dimensional. I guess I’ve made too many out of paper LOL. This video is really cool!

Gorgeous! I am going to try to remember this beautiful image when I am freezing to death at my son’s wedding on Saturday! I leave soon – wish you could all join me.

Have a great wedding weekend, Ting! Let us know how it goes. It can’t be as cold as me and Gruntessa’s wedding. That was Dec. 29th, and there was 2 feet of snow and temps around zero. But it was beautiful!

I certainly hope it will not be that cold and that there will be no precipitation whatsoever! I am really excited to see all the family that is coming from far away for this celebration. It will be particularly gratifying for my husband to be with both of his brothers again. It doesn’t happen very often but we all love it when it does.

Our wedding day was just the opposite… sweltering, steamy, sticky, and stifling… and the church was not air conditioned. I thought I was gonna keel over right in the middle of the service.

Air conditioning is definitely your friend for summer weddings! Is there such a thing as air conditioned bridal dresses? There should be.
