Thanks to God for prayers answered. My little grandson came home from the hospital Saturday.

Tyler is home & resting. We are hoping to know more by Tuesday, but it could be a few days longer if pathology needs to do further testing. For now, we are just trying to keep him comfortable (the neck brace has become his arch enemy), & he is enjoying being spoiled rotten by everyone (we are going to need an extra storage area at this rate lol). It’s good to be home, but this mama is ready to have some answers. I will try to respond to the individual messages & texts, but know that your prayers & love are being felt, & are very much appreciated & needed.
YD has 797 friends on FB. She’s a very popular young woman.

Mayor Emanuel’s Son Choked & Mugged in Chicago
Zach Emanuel was talking on his cell phone on the street in the 4200 block of North Hermitage Avenue in the Ravenswood neighborhood when two unknown males approached him from behind, according to the police report.
One of them “placed his arm around the victim’s neck in a rear chokehold,” and the second one struck the teen with a fist, knocking him to the ground. The robbers took the teen’s cell phone and patted him down, the police report said.
“The offenders then asked the victim ‘What else you got?’ (and) forced the victim to enter his security code to unlock the phone,” the police report said.
The official account was that he went across the street to use his cell phone.Word is he’d just gotten his Hanukkah money and had called for some weed from thelocal homies.Think about it….the Godfather has 24/7 police protection.They knew what he was doing.

The New York Post reports that 17-year-old Raymond Leonardo had just been shooting out apartment windows and nearly hit several residents in the area before police were able to catch up with him around 9 p.m. on Saturday evening. When the officers gave chase after responding to a 911 call from the area, Leonardo turned his .357 revolver on them while they were only feet away and pulled the trigger.
Unfortunately for the thug-in-training, he had just emptied all six round of the revolver into the surrounding buildings, and when he tried to squeeze off two rounds at the officers, he heard nothing but a “click.”
