Eye Pad reminded me of a real Christmas some years back. I made a remark about how I was hoping for a CD player and how it was so fun having adult children with JOBS … noot that I didn’t CHERISH those gifts they’d made for me from popsicle sticks! Really!
So come Christmas and my youngest gives me a CD player made out of popsicle sticks. Seriously! It was so funny, I LOVED it and laughed and laughed. She finally got me to listen to her say that wasn’t my real present. There was a note inside where the actual CD player was hidden. Wow! I mean … a very funny hand-made gift AND a new CD player! I lurves my kids!
