“I would not make this [subpoena] public now, but after Secretary Clinton falsely claimed the committee did not subpoena her, I have no choice in order to correct the inaccuracy,” Gowdy said, explaining that the select committee investigating the Benghazi attacks drafted its subpoena after learning that Clinton had conducted official State Dept business on two personal email accounts that were hosted on a “home-grown” server based in her New York home.
