   Every time Obama or one of his cronies tells me I should learn Spanish (as if they speak it! snort), I think about how the immigrant groups that are most prevalent in my immediate neighborhood are Russian and Chinese.

   I googled “how many languages are there” and got this:

   “There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today. However, about 2,000 of those languages have fewer than 1,000 speakers. The most popular language in the world is Mandarin Chinese. There are 1,213,000,000 people in the world that speak that language.”

   Then I googled “how many people speak Spanish” and got this:

   “more than 427 million people speak Spanish as a native language

   I think we should all start studying Mandarin. Or not. I googled “what is the international language of the world” and got multiple hits for English as the international language for communication and business.

   I think I’ll stick to my original plan, which was to work at English. My latest acquisitions are:
