If you listen to the leftists media the Noble Red Man is standing up to the eeeevil oil people who are trying to desecrate their sacred land by ramming an oil pipeline though their burial grounds and fouling their drinking water. If you believe that crap, shame on you. An Obama-appointed judge ordered a halt to construction, setting off heap big celebration with much fire water and smokum heap big bowls of locoweed. Even a bunch of white eyes have gotten in on the fun, leading some Injuns to complain they were treating their gig like Burning Man.
Left Pushes Misinformation in War Against Dakota Access Pipeline
THE BUILDERS OF THE PIPELINE, ENERGY TRANSFER PARTNERS, HAD INVESTED $3.5 BILLION BEFORE THE INDIANS RAISED ANY OBJECTIONS
When it comes to the plight of the American Indian, liberal hypocrisy shines.
On Sunday, the anti-pipeline agitators gained something of a victory after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers refused to grant the project a permit needed to finish construction — the company will likely be forced to reroute the pipeline.
Their concern is hardly surprising, given the plethora of false stories and fake news regarding the protests. Indeed, one widely circulated story even asserted that police had been given the green light to shoot protesters.
Of course what these hysterical reports — which range from highly exaggerated to patently false — fail to mention is that some of these “peaceful” pipeline protests are anything but. Protesters have attacked police, set fires, and damaged private property.
Moreover, even those who are protesting peacefully do so for a shaky cause. The pipeline will not be constructed on native land, but on private property north of the Standing Rock reservation.
Nor will the pipeline harm the water supply, as it will be built underneath the Missouri River.
“The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers held 389 meetings with 55 tribes to confer on the DAPL. In addition, 29 open houses, public meetings, and regulatory hearings were held throughout the four states where the pipeline travels. The Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota even voted unanimously to approve the project on Dec. 2, 2015,” Kain wrote.
Given all of the evidence, it seems clear that resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline was drummed up by interests who stand to gain financially should the pipeline not be built.
It’s hardly surprising then that Russell Kirk, the traditionalist conservative intellectual and godfather of the American conservative movement, was a fierce proponent of the American Indian cause, and after the 1973 Wounded Knee incident reportedly said he would have stood proudly in arms with the members of the American Indian Movement.
No one can deny that Native Americans have a lot of things to be angry about — but the Dakota Access Pipeline isn’t one of them.
Trump Supports Dakota Pipeline And Will Review Obama’s Rejection
THERE’S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN
Trump has pledged to overhaul the nation’s energy policy in a way that favors energy companies, and a reversal of the pipeline decision would fulfill that pledge. He has also said he will find a way to reverse the Obama administration’s rejection of TransCanada Corp.’s Keystone XL pipeline.
The Trump administration can probably overturn the Corps’ decision in Dakota and issue the required easement soon after taking power, Elvira Scotto, an analyst at RBC Capital Markets, said in a note Sunday night.
Congress, too, may get involved. Asked Monday if lawmakers will challenge the Army Corps decision, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said, “I think we’ll get a new administration, we’ll get new eyes, and there’s always a possibility.”
Hundreds of Dakota Access protesters march through a BLIZZARD in protest after Trump says he could REVERSE decision to halt pipeline construction
Hundreds of protesters marched on Monday against the Dakota Access Pipeline
It comes after President-elect Donald Trump announced support for project
Trump said he will revisit the decision to halt construction when he takes office
Protesters braved a heavy blizzard at the Standing Rock Sioux reservation
Camp cheered on Sunday when U.S. Army said it would halt project’s final stage
APPARENTLY, THE WHISKEY WAS RUNNING LOW
A group of Aztec dancers joined the march. One of the group, Sergio, told DailyMail.com: ‘We are here in solidarity against DAPL. We are here in celebration and prayer, showing support our brothers and sisters here in North Dakota.’
THEY PROBABLY SAID: THE HELL WITH THIS…WE’RE GOING BACK TO MEXICO, WHERE IT’S WARM!
This female protester, Brown Buffalo Calf Woman, said she believed the time had come for people to stand up and protect the water
Brown Buffalo Calf Woman….ISN’T THAT MICHELLE OBAMA’S INDIAN NAME?
White House (not the Army) halts Dakota Access Pipeline work yet again
HOW MUCH LONGER BEFORE WE GET RID OF HIM??
As NBC News was reporting yesterday, both Energy Transfer Partners (the owners of the project) and both of the state’s senators called foul and said that these delays and harassment would end once Obama leaves office.
Energy Transfer Partners, the company behind the project, denounced the decision Sunday night as “a purely political action.”
Just to be clear, this obviously wasn’t a move which was made in a vacuum by the CoE. This came straight from the White House with the backing of the Justice Department. It was over a month ago when the Army began making noises about “looking at an alternate route” in response to the protests. But keep in mind that the current route is the one which the Army already approved and it was that approval which formed the basis for the state Public Service Commission’s decision to provide final approval. That approval was twice challenged in court and upheld both times.

Trump Slams Boeing Air Force One Deal: “We Want Boeing to Make Lots of Money But Not That Much Money”

APPARENTLY THE NEW PLANE WAS BUILT WITH CANKLES IN MIND
Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents, but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!”
Later this morning Donald Trump spoke briefly with reporters in Trump Tower about the Air Force One program.
Donald Trump: “Well the plane is totally out of control. It’s going to be over $4 billion for the Air Force One program. And, I think it’s ridiculous. i think Boeing is doing a little bit of a number. We want Boeing to make a lot of money but not that much money.”

SEIU branch in Texas declares bankruptcy

Those organizers waged a three-year organizing campaign to pressure PJS into accepting card check unionization rather than a secret ballot election organized by the National Labor Relations Board, the top federal labor arbiter. The union filed 19 unfair labor practice complaints to the NLRB over the course of its campaign, a popular delaying and pressure tactic utilized by union organizers. All of those complaints were dismissed or withdrawn.
The janitorial company filed its initial suit in 2007 and was awarded over $5.3 million in damages by a jury. On September 26, a district judge ordered the union to hand over an additional $2.5 million for interest accrued during the lengthy legal proceedings. The company said in a release that a bankruptcy declaration does not allow the union to duck the jury’s decision about the cost of its actions.
“The jury determined SEIU owes PJS a lot of money, and there is no way they can pretend to be broke based on what we now know,” PJS President Floyd Mahanay said in a statement. “The only question is how long they want to drag this out while we make sure every business in Texas joins our cause.”
The SEIU is a pillar of the Democratic Party and represents many government workers.

GOP Leadership to Delay Donald Trump’s Election-Winning Priorities

RYAN:’DUDE,I’M GOING TO SO SCREW YOU OVER.’
“The GOP Congressional leadership wants to pass all its priorities quickly — tax cuts, regulatory cuts, Obamacare repeal, a Scalia replacement, maybe throw in some kind of weak ‘border security’ bill for show,” influential blogger Mickey Kaus told Breitbart, adding:
But once Trump signs their bills, what do they need him for? His leverage is cut in half. If he wants new laws — mandatory [mandatory] e-Verify, funding for a Wall etc.– it seems like he has to get them while he still has leverage.
