One of my favorite places to go for laughs is the Twitter account of Los Feliz Daycare. Los Feliz (motto: “We do not accept immunized children”) is an ultra-progressive child care center in an unspecified affluent neighborhood on the left coast. Some recent tweets:

My grandson (who loves kale and kombucha) would probably fit in okay, except that I’m pretty sure he voted for Thomas the Tank Engine for prez and Shaun the Sheep for veep.

The Los Feliz folks should have seen the party we had here yesterday for his second birthday! Although the vegetarian pizza with whole grain crust might have passed muster, the paper plates and paper cups we used to serve it would have given them the vapors. But with nine children (my grandson has eight cousins) and thirteen adults in attendance, I resorted to disposable dishes — and paper napkins too! Deplorable me!
