    This stuff is so hilarious because there is that kernel of truth in there. I see it even here – in the capital of the Confederacy!

    Had to google FOMO: It’s text slang for Fear Of Missing Out, anxiety that an exciting or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere, often aroused by posts seen on social media.

    Reminds me of the first time my eldest went out with a friend’s family to do something fun without us. When she came home, she discovered we had had a fun “picnic” dinner in the living room and watched a rental video together.

    The LOOK on her face was priceless! It had never occurred to her that, while she was out having fun without us, we might be at home having fun without her! Welcome to the real world, kid. LOL

    I confess to being troubled (for real) by the idea of toddlers fasting or crossing the street without an adult hanging on.

    This morning during my Bible time, I read this: “A servant pampered from youth will turn out to be insolent.” Psalms 29:21.

    It’s not just servants, but people in general. I think a lot of what is wrong with this nation today can be traced to parents who chose to be tolerant bffs to their offspring, rather than PARENTS.

    Okay, off my soap box now. Sorry for getting all serious on a Los Feliz post!
