I rewatched one of my favorite movies, “Babe”, recently and got the song stuck in my head. Often when that happens, I make up prayer lyrics. I figure if a tune is going to play itself in my head over and over, I might as well glorify God with it. ๐
God has the words to make a day for you;
He sings each morning golden and true.
He made you to live always;
To dance with Him through eternal days.
Beautiful! Just like the old hymns set to the tunes of popular drinking songs back in the day. You should write a couple more verses, you really have the knack!

I love Babe too. Have you read the book? I read it with my kids when they were little and we all absolutely loved it.

I didn’t know it was a book. I put a Hold on it at my library. TY!

If you’re like me, after you’ve read it you’ll want to buy a copy for each of your grandchildren. I discovered it when my kids were little and we all fell in love with it. The author wrote a ton of books for children, and luckily for us, the public library we frequented had almost all of them. I’m really looking forward to reading them to my grandson in a couple of years. ๐

While we’re posting music videos, in case anyone has not heard the wonderful symphony by Camille Saint-Saens that inspired the theme music from “Babe,” here is a great performance of it. (It’s a little long, but you can listen to it while you do other things.)

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I found it while poking through a bunch of videos posted by the various choirs and instrumental ensembles at my alma mater. ๐
