Wow! What a deal! We adopted a “free” retired racing greyhound and it cost us $350 (spaying, crate, special collar), plus a trip to Connecticut and back to pick her up.

Army Prince and Princess have an anniversary gifting tradition of doing the list, dunno what it’s called, but you know, first is paper, second is cotton, etc. This year, they’re on aluminum or tin. He bought her a metal Advent wreath candle holder. She texted, “I haven’t done anything yet. I guess I’ll have to think of something better than an aluminum foil heart. … He just reminded me that beer cans are made from aluminum.” ROFLLL
