A majority of Americans approved of President Trump’s SOTU speech. But Democrats in the audience refused to even APPLAUD when he mentioned issues that have (or should have) bipartisan support.
I’m beyond disgusted, but I’m not sure what else I should have expected from 21st century Democrats.
When Bush was president, CIA interrogators poured water on the faces of three terrorists faces (for about five minutes total) to scare them into talking.
Years after it had been done and the information obtained saved lives, Democrats decided to make a huge stink about how eeeevil waterboarding is and how eeeevil it was of Bush and the military for allowing it to be done.
Lost on the Left were the FACTS that:
- Waterboarding detainees was and is illegal without specific approval from the congressional oversight committee.
- Democrats in the congressional oversight committee, including Nancy Pelosi, voted to allow it in three specific cases.
- It is illegal for the military to waterboard detainees. (The CIA does it.)
Democrats in the 115th Congress … including Nancy Pelosi … have now voted IN FAVOR OF allowing pain-capable, unborn human beings to be torn limb from limb.
- Just to clarify, pouring water on someone’s face is scary and uncomfortable, but it does NO PERMANENT DAMAGE. During the stupid brouhaha about waterboarding, protesters actually demonstrated waterboarding on THEMSELVES.
- Abortion, on the other hand, is not only unspeakably painful for pain-capable fetuses, but also entirely and permanently LETHAL. I’m not seeing any pro-abort protesters volunteering to be dismembered, are you?
So let’s just sum up the Democrat Party’s positions:
- Pouring water on the faces of evil people is evil.
- Ripping the arms and legs off of innocent people is compassionate.
Also, a majority of Americans APPROVE of banning pain-capable fetuses … just like a majority of Americans APPROVED of President Trump’s speech.

You forget, abortion is a major payer into dnc coffers. Waterboarding people may defer the ‘victim’ from voting for the dnc. Adding to this, all these so-called Dreamers should be inducted into the military and only after 4 years military, be allowed to apply for citizenship. Niio.

The military has been a short cut to naturalization for ages. My husband’s Great-Uncle Lawrence enlisted right off the boat, instantly obtaining a job, a paycheck, a career path, and citizenship in half the time.
I researched this once and, as I recall, something like 7% of the active military is usually made up of immigrants.
There was a wonderful photo during the Iraq War, taken in one of Saddam’s palaces, showing dozens and dozens of soldiers all taking their oaths of citizenship at the same time. Still makes me tear up to think of it.
