CARAVAN WARNING:Mexico’s immigration authorities issued a warning about individuals in what’s been dubbed the “second caravan” who are building Molotov cocktails and other makeshift incendiary devices to be used against federal police officers guarding their southern border. The alert follows an incident where a group of migrants threw rocks at officials at the Guatemala-Mexico Border and tried to break through international barriers. Mexican law enforcement confirmed that some of the protesters in the clash carried firearms.

MIGRANTS TURN DOWN OFFER: Only 1700 of the 7000 migrants in the first caravan have accepted Mexico’s generous offer of sanctuary. The rest are continuing north in the face of President Trump’s firm statement that they will not be allowed in. “Seven thousand people do not simply get up and start on the road toward America. Someone is trying to make a political statement using the refugees as both stage props and human shields,” says Rick Moran. Trump called the thousands of migrants in the approaching caravans from Central America‘not legitimate asylum-seekers’ because most of them have rejected Mexico’s offer of asylum. ‘Asylum is not a program for people living in poverty,’ he said.

14TH AMENDMENT: Not until the 1960’s has the Constitution been interpreted to convey birthright citizenship on the children of illegal aliens. And not due to any congressional statute or court ruling, but decisions by various departments and agencies of the federal bureaucracy. So, to be clear, the president would not be altering the 14th amendment or the intent of the 14th amendment or the original interpretation of the 14th amendment. On the contrary, the president would be taking charge of the executive branch and upholding the 14th amendment.
