MOVIE RECOMMENDATION: 2018 Dinesh D’Souza political documentary – Explores the REAL historical roots of racism and fascism, discusses the Big Lies the Left tells about them, and notes intriguing parallels between the presidencies of Lincoln and Trump. TRUMP ECONOMY TRUTH: Hispanic unemployment lowest rate ever recorded –
The Hispanic unemployment rate has been below 5.0 percent for 15 of the 24 months of Trump’s presidency.
- In October of last year, it fell all the way to 4.4 percent, ticked up to 4.5 percent in November, and then fell again to 4.4 percent in December.
- The previous historic low was 4.9 percent during October and November of 2006. When Trump took office in 2016, the Hispanic unemployment rate was 5.8 percent.
“SEXIST” TRUMP: Odd how he keeps doing stuff to help women succeed – President Trump signed a new initiative Thursday to help bring economic security to 50 million women around the world by 2025. The Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, or W-GDP, is the first of its kind.
I’M LISTENING TO THIS: Besides HER wasting time insisting on simple Yes or No answers, I can’t even figure out what some of her questions are. The first one is actually two questions. Some others include confusing negatives.
HOUSE DEMOCRATS: Launching an investigation into President Trump’s tax returns — Never mind border security or the opioid crisis. “Get Trump” is their top priority. I’m not sure what they think they’re doing, since there is no law requiring presidential candidates release their tax returns. There is a requirement for presidential candidates to be “natural born citizens”, but Democrats definitely never gave a single toot that multiple experts certified that the two “birth certificates” Obama posted on the White House website were both forgeries.
WAPO OUTS WARREN: They went looking for hard evidence — WaPo has demonstrated repeatedly that it is an undeclared arm of the DNC’s PR department and I recall them doing zero scrutiny of Obama’s birth certificate. Ergo, methinks the whoever it is who actually holds the power in the Democratic Party has decreed that Fauxcahontas Shall Not Run.

MORE TROUBLE FOR DEM 2020: From Philip Klein at the Washington Examiner – “Last week, Gov. Ralph Northam was forced to apologize for a photo on his medical school yearbook page featuring two people, one in a KKK costume and the other in blackface.
“At the time, he seemed expendable, because the next person in line was Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, a young African-American who would seem to be a perfect choice to heal the state in the wake of the scandal. But it turned out that a woman, who we now know to be accomplished college professor Vanessa Tyson, accused Fairfax of sexually assaulting her at the 2004 Democratic Convention.
“As much of a disaster as this was, it seemed the worst-case scenario was that Democrats had a fallback plan in the next person in line of succession — Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring. But it turns out that Herring wore blackface.”
UPDATE: A second woman has now accused Fairfax of having raped her when they were in college.
AOC GREEN NEW DEAL: From Twitchy – “Plenty has been written about the awfulness and stupidity of the Green New Deal, but this thread stands out as maybe the best rebuttal we’ve seen yet.” Yup. It’s a great line-by-line revelation and rebuttal. My personal favorites are her plan to eliminate farting cows and provide secure incomes to all who are unwilling to work.
TEN MILLION: Price Netflix paid for Socialist AOC’s primary story – Kinda reminds me of all those anti-capitalism films Michael Moore has made a bundle off of. The film, entitled Knock Down the House, was a huge hit at this year’s Sundance Film Festival winning the coveted audience favorite award. It features the primary campaigns of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and three other candidates.

For the record, while I never dressed up in blackface, a couple of my Halloween costumes were so controversial that people made a point of telling me so AT THE TIME … not 30 years later, when it became politically correct to do so.
“NO WALL” ACTIVISTS: They must be in favor of child molestation – Hey, it’s no more extreme than what they accuse us of “supporting.” U.S. Border Patrol agents recently apprehended two illegal immigrants at the southern border in Texas, in places where there are no physical barrier walls to deter illegal crossings. Both of them – one Mexican, the other Honduran – have prior convictions for sexually abusing children.
SMOLLETT ATTACK UPDATE: Chicago Police say they have identified the retailers of the rope found on Jussie Smollet and are now visiting every store in the city to check surveillance to see who bought it. They have also combed through hundreds of hours of video, but still no video of alleged attack.
SHAMEFUL: Debate judge disqualifies team – Two Utah high school seniors lost a round in a debate when they argued AGAINST racism (and classism) by citing the works of psychologist Jordan Peterson and conservative writer Ben Shapiro. The judge said Peterson and Shapiro are racists, so could not be used as sources.

COLLEGE CHRISTIAN GROUP WINS: A federal court on Wednesday ruled that the University of Iowa can’t strip a Christian group of its status as a registered student organization based on its requirement that leaders follow its statement of faith, which includes not having sex outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
MEASLES VACCINE DOES MORE THAN PREVENT MEASLES: Back in the 1960s, the U.S. started vaccinating kids for measles. As expected, children stopped getting measles. But something else happened. Childhood deaths from all infectious diseases plummeted. Even deaths from diseases like pneumonia and diarrhea were cut by half.
Scientists saw the same phenomenon when the vaccine came to England and parts of Europe. And they see it today when developing countries introduce the vaccine. In some developing countries, where infectious diseases are very high, the reduction in mortality has been up to 80 percent.
One explanation is that kids who get vaccinated are more likely to receive good medical care. But researchers have found the vaccine may be preventing something that actually catching the measles does, which is to erase immunities.
Say, for example, you catch chicken pox at age 4.
Having the disease would teach your immune system to fight chicken pox whenever you get exposed again.
But if you then get the measles at age 5, the measles virus would wipe out your immune response to chicken pox, leaving you vulnerable to another round of chicken pox.
The measles vaccine protects you from catching the measles. It does not damage existing immunities.

Do you really think Billary still has that much clout? I was thinking more along the lines of the big bucks donors like billionaires George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, and Tom Steyer.
