FRESNO STATE PROFESSOR LOSES: Nearly two years ago, Fresno State Professor Greg Thatcher and some of his students purposefully wiped away pro-life chalk messages written by the Fresno State Students for Life group.
The chalk messages were approved by the university, but Thatcher decided to censor the pro-life message claiming that “free speech is free speech in the free speech area” and that “college campuses are not free speech areas.” He said he and his students were exercising their own free speech as he proceeded to rub the chalk off the sidewalk with his shoe.
With the assistance of Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), Students of Life filed a lawsuit and won the case.
According to ADF, Thatcher was ordered never to interfere with Students for Life at Fresno State again and had to pay nearly $26,000 in attorney fees. He also had to attend a training on free speech given by ADF attorney Travis C. Barham.
In an article for ADF, Tasy said that the impact of that attack against free speech was much greater than they could have imagined. They felt defeated after a year of having their fliers torn down or vandalized and the professor’s actions left them feeling completely disheartened.
But the video of the professor and his students was viewed thousands of times and inspired talk on social media about free speech. And Students for Life at Fresno grew from a few members to over 25 active pro-life participants.

The bill would require a health-care provider to “exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child” who survives abortion as he or she would to “any other child born alive at the same gestational age.”
Democrats voted it down.
Network coverage of this vote in the first 24 hours? Zero on ABC, CBS, and NBC. Presidential wannabes, Bernie Sanders and Fauxcahontas Warren, appeared on CNN and MSNBC respectively not long after the vote, but nobody asked them a single question about it.

On her second visit, she requested an ultrasound to see if her baby was still alive. When she proclaimed her desire to keep the baby, the woman claims Planned Parenthood staff continued pushing the subject of abortion as if they were pitching a sale.
“The more I was telling them no, it was more like they were trying to sell me something, like a seller that pushes you and pushes you until you buy their item or their product. That’s how it felt, as if they were trying to sell me this abortion,” she said.
Her baby was born full-term and healthy. Pro-Life Action Ministries concealed her identity to avoid retaliation from Planned Parenthood.

ACCESS TO BIRTH CONTROL: Increases abortions – A bunch of studies all show that as the contraception rate increases, the abortion rate increases.
LOUISIANA: The Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME) has suspended the medical license of Dr. Kevin Work, an abortionist with a history of what the state Attorney General’s office calls “failing to meet basic standards of patient care.” Work’s offenses include:
- “prescribing, dispensing, or administering legally controlled substances or any dependency-inducing medication without legitimate medical justification”;
- “allow[ing] his unlicensed clinic personnel to evaluate his patients and provide prenatal care”; and
- “represent[ing] in the medical record and in his claims to Medicaid that he had seen the patients himself during visits when he had not.”
