2A: On Tuesday, the U.S. House of Representatives approved (218-209) a resolution to repeal the Biden Administration’s arbitrary ban on the use of handgun stabilizing braces.
The vote was almost entirely along party lines with two Republicans voting Nay (Brian K. Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Thomas H. Kean, Jr. of New Jersey) and two Democrats voting Yay (Jared F. Golden of Maine and Mary Sattler Peltola of Alaska).
Kris Brown, president of Brady United, tweeted, “The House just voted to rescind a life-saving regulation on stabilizing braces, which turn pistols into lethal and illegal short-barreled rifles.”
A tweeter asked, “Can you explain, specifically, how a braced firearm is more lethal than an unbraced one?”

It is unlikely the House’s repeal will pass the Senate and it definitely won’t get Biden’s signature.
