The Immaculate Conception refers to Mary’s miraculous conception without the stain of Original Sin. The fact that one of her eggs was inseminated by the Holy Spirit rather than a man is known as the Virgin Birth.
Mary being chased and called “prostitute” is equally ignorant. Joseph was betrothed to her when she conceived and planned to quietly divorce her until an angel told him not to. So, as far as society was concerned, Mary and Joseph had just jumped the gun on their wedding night.
As for Mary being portrayed as a teen because it “aligns with right-wing Christian anti-choice rhetoric” .. puh-leeze. Her young age is a tradition of many, many centuries.
